Special Edition Autumn & Christmas Island Time Blanket Pattern x WeCrochet
While this pattern already exists in a different yarn—I didn’t want to lump them together because the quantities in yarn differ quite a bit. The original version of this pattern used larger skeins of yarn and worked up with a bit less yarn. I found that the Mighty Stitch Super Bulky from WeCrochet is a bit more dense as a yarn and required a bit more to make the blanket. They’re also smaller skeins, so don’t be alarmed by how many are needed to make the blanket.—haha!
Please read the Pattern Notes section carefully!!! It pertains important information about both the Autumn and Christmas versions of this pattern.

Special Edition Nordic Star Blanket Pattern
One of my favourite things to do, is take a favourite pattern of mine and put a chunky spin on it. I love creating these chunky yarn blankets because they’re very quick to work up, simple and stunning! Wool Ease Thick & Quick is my favourite super chunky yarn but you can use any yarn that you prefer! This blanket is an absolute joy to work up. Only 2 round squares that go by so fast. The result is a blanket the whole family can curl up under.
Autumn Sunflower Hexie Blanket Pattern x Spices Collection by The Frosted Stitch
This time of year is about all things golden. The garden feels settled, the buzzing in the trees starts to subside and blooms are fading. Soon, we’ll be surrounded by Pumpkin Spice everything….but not before I profess my undying love for sunflowers…
I know Meg Ryan thinks “daisies are the friendliest flower”, but I disagree. The joy I get from sunflowers is unmatched. Truly, they are remarkable. Towering towards the sky, an outright refusal to be anything short of big. They take up space, they’re bold and in a way could be symbolic of what we should all strive to be in life; big, bold, sunny and reaching for the sky.

Coastline Hexie Blanket Pattern x Made in Canada Collection by The Frosted Stitch
The original version of the Coastline Sunburst Hexie Blanket Pattern was all about sandy coastlines and sun dried driftwood. This version though; Canadian, coast to coast to coast and Muskoka vibes only. I’m loving this palette from The Frosted Stitch. The Made in Canada Collection is perfect for summer and cottage decor projects.
I truly hope you enjoy this relaxing make. With a wonderfully curated selection of colours, no colour changes and motifs that are packable—this project promises to be the bring-a-long staple. Join them all up later with a continuous join as you go for hexagons and you’ve got yourself the perfect project to relax with this summer. Happy Crocheting :)

Island Time Shawl Pattern (Fingering/Sock Weight Version)
Hi everyone! I’m just over here checking all the things off the list! Since forever you’ve been asking for the “half” sunburst tutorial or the Triangle Sunburst. I’ve wanted to create a simple sunburst shawl for some time—and since the Island Time Blanket pattern is a current favourite it seemed like the perfect time to make the sister pattern….
Sedona Starburst Hexie Blanket Pattern x Desert Bloom Collection by Hue Loco Yarn
The Sedona Starburst Hexie Blanket is a fresh take on the Finley Starburst Hexie Blanket—this one contains the same starburst we know and love, with the same join BUT we’ve changed up the layout. This gives an opportunity to make some fun zig zag stripes which works up into an awesome fade. You guys are going to have so much fun playing with the colours on this one. Can’t wait to see all the faded and fun hexie stripes you all come up with :)

Island Time Blanket Pattern x Semisolids by Hue Loco
It’s bright, it’s colorful, it’s made with dreamy yarn….
Scandi Granny Pillow Pattern
The Scandi Pillow Pattern combines my love of all things quilt inspired, Nordic stars and crocheted granny squares. By using baby granny squares, I’ve laid out a Nordic star which wraps around the pillow to cover it. This creates an off-center geometric design that I’m loving. Using a Colour A and Colour B layout-you can customise your pillows in an endless combination of colours. Happy squish-making!!

Sock Set Stash Buster Hygge Burst Blanket Pattern 2024
Socks sets…I have them, I cannot resist them…I’m betting you might have one or two kicking around in your stash as well. I don’t know about you, but I’ve nary a plan to knit a sock (or crochet a sock, for that matter). So, what do we do with them? Well it was my mission to make a blanket. This wasn’t the blanket I had originally planned (I’m still working on the original pattern design….needs tweeking), but in the meantime, this one was a good start!
I had a blast relaxing into this project and I think you will too! Happiest crocheting everyone :)

Nordic Star Sunburst Blanket Pattern x Cozy in Colorado Collection by Hue Loco Yarn
Inspired by quilts and the Scandinavian Nordic Star motif which is so popular in knitting and yoke sweaters. I wanted one for myself so put the crochet spin on it!
NautiKrall Crochet x Hue Loco Succulents 2025 Blanket CAL
The Succulents Yarn Subscription is a set of 12 new surprise colour ways from Hue Loco Yarn. From it, I used the 12 colours to make up the main squares for the Succulents Granny Square CAL blanket design. Each month a surprise skein of yarn will show up in the mail and from it you make the squares for the blanket. At the end of the year, the blanket is joined up. The blanket construction is made up of two squares: sunburst granny squares and solid granny squares in an alternating pattern. Each month you make 10 squares according to the schedule listed in the pattern below…
Ebony Granny Squares Blanket Pattern x Nightfall Collection by Hue Loco Yarn
a kind of patchwork effect. It’s subtle, and focuses more on the art of beautiful hand dyed yarns rather than a quilted effect. However, it still shines through just a bit. —And you know just how much I love a quilt inspired blanket :)

Hygge Burst Scarf Pattern x Rosé Collection by Hue Loco Yarn
Adding yet another addition to the Hygge Burst Family of patterns! I adore this scarf. Originally, I had planned on making a shawl—and maybe I still will….but I’m super glad I switched to scarf at the last minute. I’m definitely more of a scarf girlie and this one is totally scrumptious. I made this one out of sock weight yarn in Hue Loco’s newest Rosé Collection. The colours are beautifully wearable, the drape is incredible… and I can tell this will be a go-to piece in my wardrobe for the remainder of the Autumn and Winter season.
Hygge (pronouced “Hue-guh”) is a Scandinavian word meaning everything that is cozy, happy, special, warm and nice. It’s used as a noun, a verb and an adjective! I fell in love with the idea of hygge after reading The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way to Live Well by Meik Wiking. For me, this scarf encompasses all the warmth, coziness and happiness that you can get. I hope you all feel the same too.
